Robert Morey

MOREY, Robert Douglas - age 73, of Fenton, died November 7, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, November 14, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd, Howell, MI 48855 with Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. The family will receive friends from 1-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI 48451 where a sharing service will start at 7 PM. The family will also receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Bob was born October 2, 1949 in Flint, the son of Herman H. and Helen (Klocko). He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, 1st Calvary Division serving in the Vietnam War and earning a Bronze Star. Bob was a barber and an instructor at the Flint Institute of Barbering for over 40 years. He enjoyed motorcycles, boating, waterskiing and downhill skiing. Bob is survived by: his wife, Dr. Patricia McGarry, DDS; three brothers, Jim (JoAnn) Morey, Michael Morey, and Martin (Kathleen) Morey; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
