Robert James Mulholland

MULHOLLAND, Robert James - age 84, of Flushing, passed away September 5, 2025. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473.

Robert was born November 10, 1940, in Mason, MI, the son of William L. and Ann H. (Householder) Mulholland. Robert married Janet Kay Halka on January 18, 1963 in Swartz Creek and she preceded him in death on February 10, 2002. Robert retired from General Motors in 1996 after 35 years of service and is a member of U.A.W. Local#599. In his younger years Robert enjoyed body building, fishing, canoeing and spending time in upper MI. He had always been an avid gardener. He was an extremely strong, independent, hardworking man. His final words, “I spent my whole life trying to figure this crap out, now it’s your turn”.

Surviving are: daughter, Roberta K. Fox of Georgia; three granddaughters, Bridgette Drielick and her husband Cody of Montrose Bailey Fox of Montrose, Aubrey Johnston of Georgia sister, Donna Hunt of Arizona. Many nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ann; his wife, Janet; siblings, Pat Lewis, William, Jack (Helen), brother in law Bobby Jean Williamson and sister in law Joanne
