Nealis, Robert Allen - Age 79, of Swartz Creek, passed away, July 31, 2026. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 7, 2026 at North Baptist Church, 4004 Lennon Rd., Flint, MI with Pastor Dan Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery (Flint). Visitation will be held 9:00 am - 11:00 am Friday at the church. Robert was born on January 13, 1947, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, the son of Lloyd and Alice (Ricketts) Nealis. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda Ilene Jacobs, on October 14, 1967, and together they shared nearly 59 years of love, faith, and devotion. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air National Guard. He began his career with General Motors in 1972, where he worked until 1985. He then joined American Motors Corporation (AMC), remaining with the company until it was acquired by Chrysler in 1988. Robert continued his career with Chrysler, retiring in 2007 as a New Vehicle Transportation Auditor. A devoted member of North Baptist Church, Robert faithfully served his church in many capacities throughout the years, including as a trustee, deacon, treasurer, and caretaker of the church grounds. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he found great joy in serving both his church family and his community. Above all else, Robert cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a man whose kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness touched everyone who knew him. Surviving are: wife, Linda Nealis; two sons, Brent (Karrie) Nealis of Davison and Jon (Rhonda) Nealis of Grand Blanc; six grandchildren, Hailey, Jake, Drew, Joseph, Jeremy and Jessica; four great-grandchildren, Elliot, Holland, Vallie, and Eloise; two brothers, Gary (Nancy) Nealis of Ann Arbor and Brian (Nikki) Nealis of Kearneysville, WV .
