RUTLEDGE, Robert Leslie - age 78, of Howell, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia. Services will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Mr. Rutledge was born January 16, 1937 in Detroit, the son of Bill and Margaret (Steeber) Rutledge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Rutledge married Betty Sue Haggard on February 21, 1969 in Detroit. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1999. Surviving are: wife, Betty Sue Rutledge; five children, Bill Lewis, Gary Rutledge, Billy Allard, Justine Sieler, and Marie Allard; many grandchildren, including special granddaughter, Madisyn; brother, Gary Rutledge also survives. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sherry Lynn Rutledge and sister, Nancy Beabeau. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
