Wilson, Roberta E. "Robbie" - Age 72, of Flint, passed away August 7, 2026 at home surrounded by family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5191 Richfield Road, Flint, Michigan, 48506. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Monday, August 10, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507 and the Rosary will be prayed 6 PM Monday. Visitation also 10 AM Tuesday, August 11 at the church until the time of the Mass at 11 AM.

Robbie was born December 16, 1953 in Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Wanda (Wnorowski) Kurkowski. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Gaylord. Robbie also attended college at Northern Michigan University in Marquette and Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. Robbie returned to Gaylord where she met her future husband, Tim Wilson. They married on June 15, 1985 at St. Mary's Church in Gaylord, Michigan. After marrying Tim, they made their home and raised their three sons in Flint, Michigan. Robbie was a bus driver for Kearsley Schools for 16 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending her time up north at their place in Waters, Michigan. Robbie was a devoted grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Rayghan Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Tim; son, Thomas; granddaughter, Rayghan; her dog, Charlie; grand dog, Eli. Robbie is also survived by her siblings, Wanda (Nick) Poleshuk, Edwina Kurkowski, Damon (Janet) Kurkowski, Simon (Pam) Kurkowski; best friend, Carolyn Strecha. Robbie is also survived by her in-laws, Raymond Wilson, Debbi (Randy) Osterman, Sherry (Lenny) Myers, Deanie (Bill) Brooks, Cathy Ferris, Mark (Patsy) Wilson; many nieces and nephews; family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved twin sons, Trevor and Travis Wilson; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and Ray Wilson; brother-in-law, Thomas Wilson; sister-in-law, Julie Wilson. Special thanks given to caregivers, Carolyn, Debbi, Patsy and Mid-Michigan Hospice.
