Robin Kay PIERSON

PIERSON, Robin Kay - age 53, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at McLaren - Flint. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Kevin Harbin officiating. Visitation will be held 10 AM until time of service at the church on Saturday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society. Robin was born November 7, 1959 in Flint, the daughter of Dallas L. and Dorothy M. (Dohrman) Pierson. She was a 1978 graduate of Flushing High School and was a bus driver for Durand Public Schools for many years. Robin loved spending time with her grandsons, her dogs and enjoyed sewing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Left to cherish her memory are: son, Derrick (Julie) Alward of Durand; daughter, Christina (Justin) Sefton of Sterling Heights; three grandsons, Darrin and Drew Alward and Joshua Sefton; sister, Gale (Cleve) Paxton of Rochester Hills; brother, Bruce Pierson of Ohio; dear friends, Larry Bush; Tina (Dave) Hildebrandt and their family, Mark, Krystyn and Olivia, and Joyce Viall.
