Robin Renee Roberts passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at McLaren Hospital in Flint, Michigan, surrounded by the family who was her entire world. She was 58.

Robin didn't just live life; she embraced it with a signature style and a heart wide enough to make everyone she met feel like they truly belonged. To know her was to be heard, to be loved, and to be part of the vibrant, colorful world she created.

Born on May 17, 1967, in Flint to Donald and Helen Pratt, Robin was a woman of many chapters. Her story took her from the halls of Durand High School to the rugged beauty of Nome, Alaska, where she spent time with family and furthered her education. Always seeking new skills and horizons, she earned her cosmetology degree in Owosso, mastered travel agency school, and even took to the skies through flight attendant school in Kissimmee, Florida.

On July 20, 1993, Robin married her best friend and partner in adventure, Harold Dean Roberts. Together, they built a life defined by travel, laughter, and a shared map of beautiful memories.

Robin’s true, God given talent was simply loving people. She possessed the rare gift of making every person feel truly heard and like they belonged exactly where they were. Her home was never just a house. Her door was always open, serving as the ultimate landing pad for friends and family to make memories and share so many laughs.

She was a creator at heart who saw purpose in everything. Whether she was painting rocks, reimagining the world with a can of spray paint, or curating her one of a kind personal style, Robin lived in color. A dedicated music lover, she was often found at concerts with family and friends, soaking up the energy of the songs she loved.

Robin was rarely seen without a camera in her hand, constantly capturing photos and videos of the people she loved. She took immense joy in making home videos, ensuring that every graduation, birthday, and quiet afternoon at home was preserved. To Robin, these weren't just recordings; they were treasures that captured the magic in the everyday moments.

Of all her creations, none compared to the family she built. Robin’s greatest masterpieces were her children and grandchildren, but her love was far too vast to be contained. Because her heart was simply too big for boundaries, she doted on her nieces, nephews, and cousins as if they were her very own. She also extended that same fierce, motherly love to her children’s best friends, claiming them as part of the family without hesitation. Robin was the ultimate champion for her people, ensuring everyone by blood or by bond knew they had a permanent place in her heart.

Above all, the source of her boundless joy and kindness was her deep, unwavering love for Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation that allowed her to see purpose in everything and beauty in everyone. Robin was the ultimate champion for her people, ensuring everyone by blood, by bond, or by faith knew they had a permanent place in her heart.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Harold Dean Roberts; her three beloved children, Dustin Dakota Edvon Roberts, Spenser Nathaniel Blake Roberts, and Madisyn McCartney Joeleene Roberts Holloway (with husband Dustin Holloway “D”); and her cherished grandchildren, Ruger and Miah. She also leaves behind her siblings, Darlene Swiger, Tony Pratt, and Stephen (Melanie) Pratt, along with a vast circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends far too numerous to list but held forever in her heart.

Robin now joins her parents and her sister, Brenda Chapman, in heavenly peace.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at Risen Life Church in Durand later this summer, a fitting tribute to a woman who made life a celebration every day. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel.

In honor of Robin, the family asks that you keep her spirit alive by making someone feel heard today, just as she always did. Condolences may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
