Rodney Schlabach

SCHLABACH, Rodney - Age 72, of Fenton, died May 29, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, June 1, 2018 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Morris. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to The Wounded Warrior Project. Rodney was born February 19, 1946 in Harbor Beach, MI, the son of Aaron and Dorothy (Green) Schlabach. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. Rodney was a member of Lapeer VFW Post #4139. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, avoiding work, painting and spending time with his loved ones. He had been employed by and retired from General Motors. He is survived by his fiancee, Judy Hoenicke; step-children, Rebecca Kuta, Jacqueline Rinker, Lori (Tim) Martin, Raymond (Sharon) Hoenicke; son-in-law, Charles Kuta; grandchildren, Brendan, Olivia, Lauren, Ashlyn, Cody, Bryce, Skyler, Spencer, Emily, Jasen, Alivia, Von and Kynlee; sisters, Marilyn (Tom) Will, Sherry (Jimmy) Coan; many nieces and nephews.
