GILLEAN, Roger Wade - Age 53, of Flint, passed away, Monday October 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 5, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, with Pastor Carl Cooke officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Eastwood United Methodist Church. Roger was born December 28, 1958 in Flint, the son of Charles H. and Ruby E. (Matthews) Gillean. He had resided in Flint his entire life. He married Charlene (Piper Rodriquez) March 8, 1999. He attended Eastwood United Methodist Church. Roger was a warm, caring, loving and affectionate person and a avid U of M Football fan. Surviving are: wife, Charlene; 5 children, Rodney (Heather) of Flushing, Eric (Tiffany) of Flint, April (Chad) Coffman of Flint, Amanda Gillean of Durand, and Deanna Earnhardt of St. Helen; 4 grandchildren; 4 step-sons and 3 step-daughters and their families; 3 brothers, Jimmie (Barbara) of Linden, Gary (Cheryl), and Stephen (Margie) both of Flushing; sister, Joanne Mantei of Flushing; several nieces and nephews.
