Roger Montreuil

MONTREUIL, Roger Francis - Age 77, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  Per Roger's request cremation has taken place and no service will be held.  Those desiring may make contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Paralyzed Vets of American.

Roger was born May 4, 1945 in Pontiac, the son of Moses David and Geraldine Ruby (Hamilton) Montreuil.  He was a 1963 graduate of Clarkston High School.  He married Vicki Buning June 24, 1994 in Waterford.  He retired from Mazza Auto Parts as a machinist.  Roger enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Nascar fan.

Surviving are: his wife, Vicki; his children, Phillip (Jennifer) Montreuil of Rose Center, Mark Montreuil of Fenton, Bill (Jamie) Hatfield of Holly and DuAnne (Vince) Henderson of Holly; grandchildren, Brandon, Alisha, Ashley, Christopher, Logan, Tyler and Kaleb; great granddaughter, Isabelle; brother, David Henry Montreuil of Ortonville; mother-in-law, Joyce Kennedy of Linden; sister-in-law, Judy Buning (Andrew Wickham) of Linden; brothers-in-law, David (Donna) Buning of Holly and James (Charlotte) Buning of Linden; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Matthew Montreuil; grandson, Alec Ash; and sister, Nancy Louise Lumm.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
