CHILES, Ronald L. - Age 80, of Lennon, died Sunday, August 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11AM, Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Reverend Dana Beland of the Lennon Wesleyan Church, officiating. Entombment will follow in Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 1PM - 8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Ronald was born in Flint, Michigan, on December 11, 1934, the son of the late Paul and Lela (Blackman) Chiles. Ronald retired from Commercial Carriers in 1996. He enjoyed airplanes and trains. Surviving are: wife, Vera Chiles of Lennon, Michigan; sons, Jay Barbarisch, Kurt Chiles both of Millington, Michigan, Dale Chiles of Flint, Michigan; step-son, David Brown of Flint, Michigan; sisters, Mary Ellen (Roger) Stroup of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Elaine Baird of Largo, Florida, Nancy Chiles of Linden, Michigan; brother, Loren (Esther) Chiles of Grand Blanc, Michigan; several Nephews and one great niece.
