CHITTICK, Ronald Martin - Age 71, of Montrose, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 17, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed below Ronald's obituary). Pastor Scott Murdock officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM and 10 AM Friday until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
Ron was born June 3, 1954 in North Hollywood, CA, the son of William A. and Lucille M. (Eathorne) Chittick. He attended Linden High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Kathryn Ann Astemborski July 20, 1996 in Linden. Ron had resided in Montrose for the past 12 years coming from Linden. He retired from GM Truck and Bus after 31 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 598. He enjoyed classic cars, WWE Wrestling, the outdoors, Eagles, deer hunting, helping others and he was a sports enthusiast (Detroit Lions and University of Michigan football). Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are: his wife, Kathryn; children, Christina (Brett) Doll, Amy Chittick, Cheryl Chittick, Kristina (Jason) Morgan, Rebecca Daenzer, and Joel Pratt; grandchildren, Harry, Drew, Madelyn, Clayton, Evander, Layden, Gavin, Scarlett, Madison, and Sophia; great grandchildren, Kenneth and Evelyn; siblings, Cindy (Gary) Harvey-Chittick, Tina (Dave) Riley, and Joey Chittick; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lucille Chittick; son, Patrick Daenzer; granddaughter, Lucille Doll; brother, David Chittick, Sr. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
