Ronald Glen Clancy

Clancy, Ronald Glen - Age 70, of Linden, passed away September 15, 2026.

Services will be held 12 PM Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. (The service may be viewed by livestream from a link at Mr. Clancy's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Visitation will be held 11 AM until time of the service at 12 PM on Thursday, September 24.

Ronald was born January 4, 1956 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Ronald James Clancy and Shirley Mae (McFarland). He was a graduate of Milford High School. He married Cindy Compton on May 15, 1976 in Waterford. He was a truck driver for the Road Commission of Oakland County retiring with many years of service.

He was a avid hunter, and enjoyed golf and fishing. He enjoyed watching football. He was proud to attend his grandson's sporting events. He was the ultimate Papa.

Surviving are: his wife of 50 years, Cindy Clancy; two sons, Derrek (Tashina) Clancy, Josh Clancy; grandchildren, Kasen Johnson, Finnegan Clancy, and Adaline Clancy; twin brother, Bruce Clancy; sister Kathy Hall; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Clancy and Shirley Brown; brother, Ricky; sister Brenda; and niece Samantha.
