Ronald Lee GROVE

GROVE, Ronald Lee - Age 79, of Burton, died Saturday, March 22, 2014. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to the United Way. Ron was born February 15, 1935 in Gladwin, the son of Max and Leatha (Hutson) Grove. He married Carol Jane Peterson September 28, 1957. He retired from the Operating Engineers Local 324. He had resided in Burton his entire life. Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. Surviving are: his wife of 56 years, Carol; children, Virginia Sparkman and husband Mike, Lori Heaberlin and husband Neel, Richard Lee Grove, Rhonda Grove and husband Peter Heninger, Ellen Grove and husband Sean Whalen; grandchildren, Andrew Adolphi, Michael Sparkman, Nicholas (Tammie) Sparkman, Christopher Mogensen, Eric (Ruby) Mogensen, Jillian (T.J.) Morse, Neely Hayes Heaberlin, Jr., Carrie Ann Heaberlin, Camille Heninger, Galen Heninger, Andrew Whalen, Patrick Whalen, Grace Whalen; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Gray; and several nieces and nephews.
