Ronald Edward Morgan

MORGAN, Ronald Edward - Age 84, of Fenton, passed away, Thursday, October 15, 2026. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (the service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Ronald's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. David Harvey officiating. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.

Ron was born September 18, 1942 in Pontiac, the son of Owen Earl and Elizabeth N. (Johnson) Morgan. He was a 1960 graduate of Clarkston High School and he received an Associates Degree from Oakland University; he also attended Madonna University. He married Mary Ann Lehman April 22, 1961 in Waterford. Ron retired in 1993 as a Staff Lieutenant (formerly a Homicide Detective) from the Waterford Township Police Department after 25 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching youtube.

Surviving are: his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann; children, Ronald O. Morgan, Barbara L. (Jeffery) Gibson, and Kathleen A. (David) Andreycak; grandchildren, Jeffery Gibson, Jason (Lauren) Gibson, and Nicole (Bradley) Pelton; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Elizabeth Morgan,  and sister, Gwendolyn Morgan. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
