Ronald "Pete" George RINGLEIN

RINGLEIN, Ronald George "Pete"- age 77, of South Branch, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 20, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Chaplain Les Winnick officiating. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Saturday, 1-3 and 5-8 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to The Alzheimers Association or Hospice Advantage. Mr. Ringlein was born on April 16, 1936 in Swartz Creek, the son of Albert and Helen (Nemeth) Ringlein. He married Sharlene A. Winnick on August 14, 1976 in Flint. Pete retired from Grand Trunk Railroad after 43 years of service. He was a member of F.O.E #4217 and was a past member of F.O.E #629. Pete is survived by wife, Sharlene; children, Kelly (Dennis) Brahce, Kathy Stensen, Sandra (John) Matthews, Jamie Stien; stepchildren, Dorene (John) Treadway, Daniel Pollard, Dwayne (Carsandra) Pollard, Denice (Alan) Ogle; 23 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Burton. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles. Special thanks to the amazing staff of Hospice Advantage and Iosco County Medical Facility for their loving care.
