Ronald Gerard ROCKMAN

ROCKMAN, Ronald Gerard, age 49, died unexpectedly Monday, January 15, 2013 in Boynton Beach, FL. Funeral mass will be held at 11 AM, Monday, January 21, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 Adelaide Street, Fenton, MI with Fr. Kurrian Kollapallil celebrant. Visitation will be 9:30 AM until the time of mass at St. John church. Ron was born January 27, 1963 in Flint, MI, the son of Ella Mae Conrad Rockman and Richard Rockman, Sr. He was a graduate of Fenton High School and Graphic Design Institute of Northern California. Ron's outgoing nature earned him various management positions over a ten-year period with Hilton Worldwide in Oxnard, CA. For the past twelve years Ron was employed as a certified Health Care Professional in Boynton Beach, FL, specializing in the care of geriatric patients. In his spare time Ron also volunteered at the Humane Society where he quickly became a favorite of all the dogs and, reluctantly, even some cats. His ready smile, sharp wit and loving nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving are Ron's brothers and sisters; Richard Rockman, Jr. and wife Karen of Fenton, Craig Rockman and wife Bethany of Fenton, Deborah Rockman of Grand Rapids, Lisa Branham of Fenton, as well as special friend and companion Robert Gordon of Boynton Beach, FL, his beloved four-legged friend Jackson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rockman, Sr., mother, Ella Conrad Rockman, brothers Randall John Rockman and Glenn Anthony Rockman. A private memorial service will also take place on Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Boynton Beach, FL.
