Ronald "Ron" Edward Jarema

Jarema, Ronald "Ron" - age 72 of Flint, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 5, 2026. A funeral will be held, with military honors rendered, at 12:30 PM Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan 48473) with Deacon David Jansen officiating. The service will also be live streamed and can be viewed via the link at the base of this obituary. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the funeral home and from 11:00 AM Friday until the time of the service. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ron to the Alzheimer's Association (Alzheimer's Association ) or the charity of one's choice.

Ron was born on November 29, 1953 in Hamtramck, Michigan to the late John and Irene (Harris) Jarema. He graduated from Powers Catholic High School and proudly served our county with the United States Army as a tank mechanic in Germany. Ron worked for over 32 years with various phone companies, and he exhibited a passion for bird and deer hunting, especially bird hunting with his dogs, in addition to golfing, fishing and ice fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheronica (Scott) Caron of Flushing. Grandson, Noah. Siblings, Patricia Flaig of Flint; Suzanne Jarema Rushing of Flushing; Al (Theresa) Jarema of Birch Run. Ron will be welcomed into heaven by his parents; siblings, Kathy White and David Jarema; Brother's-in-law, Steve White and David Flaig.
