Ronald Lewis Smith

Smith, Ronald Lewis - Age 65, of Davison, died August 20, 2026. 

A Celebration of Life will be held September 27, 2026 at the Eagle Creek Academy, 3739 Kern Road, Oakland Township, Michigan 48363. The time will be 2pm-5pm.Ronkote was born November 17, 1960 in Dover, Delaware. 

He was well known at Eagle Creek Academy as "Mr Hands". His favorite hobbies included wrenching on just about everyones vehicle while jammin some tunes. He also loved fishing with his grandkids. He was selflessly helpful to anyone and everyone he met. During poker nights he was always calling bluffs and yelling YOU DIRTY CROOK! He also had a love for sports and was always down for a Tigers or Wings game! He loved being Dad, Papa, Crampa, RonKote and Papa Ron.

Surviving are: children, Sarah (Chris) Matice, Jana (Kyle) Jones, Ronald (Angelique) Smith II; grandchildren, Miyah Matice, Madison Matice, Damien Goss, Noah Clapper, Alayna Boshell, Lily Smith; siblings, Joy Dennison, Keith Smith, Steve Smith. He was an amazing uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Jan and Dennis Winkelman; brothers, Daryl Smith and Jeff Smith; and nephews Mark Smith.
