GONZALES, Ronda Leone - Age 55, died suddenly, Friday, March 25, 2016. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday and 1-2 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Ronda was born September 19, 1960 in Flint, the daughter of Ronald Duane and Norma Jean (Raub) Gillies. She was a 1978 graduate of Grand Blanc High School and married Wade Gonzales on July 23, 1983. Ronda loved children and was a preschool teacher at many daycare centers. Surviving are: husband, Wade; two sons, Jesse (April Humphrey) Gonzales, Jacob Gonzales; grandson, Zain Humphrey; father, Ronald Gillies and wife, Miss Marion; five brothers, Michael (Sharon) Gillies, Wesley (Lori) Gillies, Randall Gillies, Michael (Myra) Taylor, Jeffrey (Lori) Taylor; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Norma Jean.
