Rose Mary Baldwin

BALDWIN, Rose Mary - age 75 of Swartz Creek, died January 2, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 PM - 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Rose was born December 22, 1948, in Flint, MI, the daughter of Bernard Joseph and Ethel LaVern (Butterfield) Maes. She was a very hard-working woman always caring for her family. Rose ran a foster home for many years and would take in neighbor kids as her own. She was known for being a great cook, gardening, dancing, garage sales and was an animal lover. Surviving are: five children, Stacy (Michael) Cataldo, Tanya (Homer) Crane, Matt (Holly) Baldwin, Jason (Sheridan) Baldwin, Melissa (Steven) Gustafson; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Joyce (Bill) Ryder, Bernard (Dorrene) Maes and Jim (Sonya) Maes; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Carol and Dee; two great-granddaughters, Danilynn Baldwin and Christina Hoss. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
