Rose A. CALLAGHAN

CALLAGHAN, Rose A. - age 59, of Fenton, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd., Fenton with Fr. Kurian Kollapallil celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a scripture service will be held at 7 PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Augustine Catholic Church or St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Rose was born January 31, 1954 in Flint, the daughter of Roy A. and Rose (Amborski) Callaghan. She was a life-long resident of the Fenton area. She attended St. John Elementary School and Hartland Schools and graduated from Linden High School. Rose was a very giving person. She loved to travel and loved children, especially babies. Surviving are: siblings, Sydney Stone of Denver, CO, Patrick Callaghan of Spring, TX, Cecelia Callaghan of Gaylord and C.J. (Charlie) Callaghan of Fenton; many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elizabeth Callaghan, brother, Michael Callaghan and nephew Gabriel Callaghan.
