Rosemary (Ball) Opperthauser - Age 89, of Fenton, passed away July 15, 2026. A picnic to celebrate Rosemary's life will be held at a future date.
Rosemary was born on March 14, 1937 in Flint, Michigan, to the late Cornelius and Emma Marie (Bundy) Ball. She was a Christian woman who loved God and loved to help others. She was very creative and liked to make art. Some of her favorite days were spent doing crossword puzzles, going to fairs, shopping at farmers markets, and having picnics. Rosemary enjoyed going on walks and would admire the history of the old headstones in the cemetery along her way. She loved taking care of her family and sharing her life with them.
Rosemary is survived by her children Lee (Roy) Opperthauser-Castro, Dan (Cindy) Opperthauser, Sherry (Clyde) Curtis, Linda Opperthauser and Karl Opperthauser; grandchildren Amanda Castro, Ryan Castro, Roy Castro, Jeremy Hogan, Devon Hogan, Caitlin Smith, Jessi Opperthauser and Luke Bennett; and great-grandchildren Logan Black, Brooke Black, Keilee Grice, Taylor Saucier and Keith Hogan.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Theresa Ball and Connie Anderson; and brothers David Ball and Albert Joseph Ball.
