STOCKWELL, Rosetta - age 76, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Fenton passed away May 7, 2025. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday; and 10:00 AM -12:00 PM Thursday. Memorial contributions in Rosetta's memory would be appreciated to the Michigan Firemen's Memorial, Roscommon or the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association.
Rosetta was born January 11, 1949 in Pontiac, the daughter of Earl and Betty (Bays) Hanks. She married Donald L. Stockwell in Pontiac on March 4, 1967. Rosetta graduated from Lake Orion High School in 1967. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting blankets for her family and friends. Rosetta was very involved in various Fireman's events and activities with Donald. She was the family "Go to Lady" who loved to take care of her family and friends. Everyone who new her called her "Mom."
Rosetta is survived by her children, Gregory (Ruth) Stockwell and Karen (Scott) Latham; grandchildren, Annesia (Opey) Welch, Christopher Latham, and Tonya Latham; great grandchildren, Aislinn (Baylee) Henderson and Stephen Johnson; brothers, Chuck Hanks, Terry Hanks, and Dennis Hanks; and several nieces and nephews.
Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Stockwell; infant sister, Roberta; and brother, Marvin "Mike" Hanks. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
