Roy Asher

ASHER, Roy Thomas - Age 59, of Fowlerville formerly of Waldenburg, AR, died Saturday, July 8, 2017. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Roy was born April 6, 1958 in Reedley, CA, the son of Jewell D. and Zona F. (Henson) Asher. He owned and operated the Crossroad Country Cafe in Waldenburg, AR for many years and had also worked for the Iron Horse Pub in Durand. Surviving are his life partner and best friend, Colleen Lorang of Fowlerville; 4 daughters, Faye Asher of Durand, Audrina E. (William) Birge of Owosso, Alesha M. Asher of Grand Blanc, and Tosha Asher of Owosso; stepdaughter, Colleen D. Bean of Mt. Morris; stepson, William J. Bean of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, William, Ryker, Jenna, Tyler, and T.J.; mother, Zona Silver of Bellaire; sisters, Zetha Hawkins of Kalkaska and Sharron Silver of Highland; and many nieces and nephews.
