Myott, Roy Locke - Age 68, of Grand Blanc Township, died July 14, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday July 17 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Interment to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 9:30AM until the time of service. Roy was born October 16, 1950 in Barre, Vermont, the son of Richard and Elizabeth (Rivers) Myott. He married Joan Gipson in 1968. Roy served in the Unites States Army. He bravely served in the Vietnam War. Roy worked in construction. He loved the Detroit Tigers, spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, and making people laugh. Roy is survived by his wife: Joan of 51 years; 3 children: Kimberly (Ronald) Bowen of Burton, Craig Myott of Flint, Kelly (Jeremy) Nowak of Texas; 8 grandchildren: Shane (Laura), Jessica, Craig Jr., Brandon, Corey, Kaya, Julia, Kenley; siblings: Richard (Glenda) Rena, Rita (John), Rachel (John), Linda, Carol, Gerald, Deborah (James); many nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers: Ronald, Russell, Raymond.
