Roy Stallings

STALLINGS, Roy J., age 52, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:30PM Saturday, July 14, 2007 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be Friday 9-11AM and 3-8PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Contributions may be made to the Roy J. Stallings Memorial fund. Roy was born May 20, 1955 in Jacksonville, Florida the son of Roy C.  and Kathleen (Watson) Stallings. He married Rhonda Stout in Lapeer on June 11, 1999 and had lived in the Grand Blanc area for the last 8 years, coming from Fenton. Roy attended Tampa Bay Tech, University of Southern Florida, and was a graduate of University of Michigan. He was employed for 25 years by Fenton Heading. Surviving are his wife, Rhonda; 2 sons, Ryan Stallings of Grand Blanc, Jason Stallings of Linden; 2 step-children, Ryan Luther of Ypsilanti; Rachel Luther of Flint; 2 grandsons, Ayden and Domanic; father, Roy C. Stallings and wife Betty of Concord, North Carolina; half-brother, Ron Kelly of Florida; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen.
