SHERMAN, Russell Duane - age 61, of Burton passed away July 17, 2019. Funeral Services 2PM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Pastor Brad Stockton officiating. Visitation 12PM until the time of service Saturday. Burial 12PM Monday, July 22, 2019 at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair, MI. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to The Michigan Humane Society.Russell was born June 11, 1958 in Flint, the son of Melvin and Mary (Meyers) Sherman. He graduated from Bentley High School in 1976. Russell retired from GM. He was a member of the Davison F.O.E.. Russell enjoyed, hunting, crossword puzzles, game shows, U of M Football, and spending time with his family in Lupton. Surviving are: brothers, Steven (Rebecca) Sherman, and Wally (Teresa) Sherman; nieces and nephews, Rebecka, Michael, Amanda, Abby, and Trevor; many great nieces and nephew; also survived by his dogs, Millie and Priscilla, whom he loved dearly!
