Kesselring, Ruth Georgette - Age 75, of Grand Blanc, died March 12, 2024. Private services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to Michigan Animal Rescue League or Adopt A Pet, Fenton. Ruth was born August 5, 1948 in Evanston, IL, the daughter of Roger John Kesselring and Georgette Laura (Laureys) Kesselring. She graduated from Loyola University Dental Assistant Program in 1967. She served her country proudly in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Ruth grew up in Lombard, IL., before moving to Michigan in 1973. She was a Certified Dental Assistant and office manager for Bruce T. Roach DDS in Waterford for many years. Ruth was a member of The National Association of Dental Assistants and the American Dental Association. She was a member of the American Legion, Disabled Veterans Association, and charter member of Women In Military Service For America. She was active in Girls Scouts for many years. She is survived by wife, Marilyn C. Winkens; brother, Lawrence Kesselring and family; 3 nephews; 3 great nieces; and her chosen family; and her 2 dogs, Smokey and Daisy.
