Ruth Laura ZINK

ZINK, Ruth Laura - age 99, of Mt. Morris, died Saturday, December 7, 2013 at her residence. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 N. Elms Rd., Flint with Pastor Thomas Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Missionary Church, 1327 N. Elms Rd., Flint. Mrs. Zink was born October 10, 1914 in Flint, the daughter of Leslie and Hattie (Dimmick) Whaley. She married Raymond A. Zink on July 28, 1934 and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2013. Surviving are: four children Lawrence (Gloria) of Shelby Township, Donald (Joanne) of Northport, MI, Kathryn (David) Sands of Swartz Creek, Gerald (Diane) of Portland OR; 10 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
