Ryan J. Porter

Ryan James Porter, age 2, was taken from this world on Friday, January 12, 2024. A Visitation will be held from 4PM - 7PM on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Sharp Funeral Home - Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. The Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6273 Miller Road in Swartz Creek with Pastor Nathan Brown officiating. Ryan was born on August 17, 2021, to Jesse & Audrey. He fought through rare health conditions and multiple surgeries and always came out smiling. Ryan could light up a room with his smile and laugh. He loved to goof off and play hard. His best playmate was his little brother Caiden. Ryan loved to play with his cars & trucks and watch dirt bike videos. He also loved dancing to music videos about Jesus. One of the few words he said was "Bible!" Everyone who met Ryan fell in love with his unique personality and facial expressions. 

He is survived by his loving parents, Jesse and Audrey Porter; younger brother, Caiden; grandparents, David & Dawn Morrissey and James & Manissa Porter; great-grandparents, Michael & Judy Edwards, Robert & Reta Morrissey, Ed & Fran Haynes and Alberta Porter. Ryan is further survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins too numerous to list.

Ryan was preceded in death by his great grandpa, David Porter and infant brother, Mason.

Ryan's family would like to express their many thanks to family, friends, and especially their church family at Cornerstone Baptist Church for their support during this difficult time.
