Sally Ann Dikos

Dikos, Sally Ann - Age 82, of Lennon, passed away, August 30, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm Wednesday and 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to The National Niemann-Pick disease Foundation, Inc. (NNPDF) (www.nnpdf.org). Sally was born February 25, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Gerald and Ivadel (Sullivan) Goodwin. She was a 1962 graduate of Flint Northern High School. Sally worked for many years as a hairdresser and later retired from Health Plus, where she worked as an administrative assistant. Sally had a strong commitment to her community and generously gave her time to many organizations throughout the years. She served on the Durand School Board for 12 years and made history as the first woman to serve as president of the board. She was also a dedicated volunteer with the Shiawassee Literacy Association, where she helped teach many adults to read. In addition, Sally volunteered her time at the Durand Union Station and with the American Red Cross in Owosso. Through her many years of service, Sally touched the lives of countless people and took great pride in giving back to her community. Surviving are: husband, Larry; four children, Paul (Shannon) Spaniola, Nathan (Dawn) Spaniola, Nick (Abby) Spaniola, and Mandy (Joel) Shepard; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Ivadel Goodwin; brother, Clay Goodwin, sister, Heidi Fromholz; and her beloved cat, Dusty.
