ORVIS, Sally Lynne - Age 78, of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial will be held 11AM Monday, January 30, 2017 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 12PM until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Sally was born in Clinton, Michigan on May 15, 1938, the daughter of Lewis DeForest and Janet Elizabeth (Tuttle) Cook. Sally married Arnold Floren Orvis on June 26, 1962 in Pontiac, Michigan and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2007. Surviving are: son, Jeffery (Jessica) Orvis of GA; daughter, Lynne Kay (Jeff) Langlois of Fenton; step-daughter Carol Anne (Kevin) Hanus of Rose City; 6 grandchildren, Katlyn, Kyle, Jameson, Jacob, Kristin, Jennifer; sister, Jane (Harold) Stockfisch of St. Ignace; brother, James (Anne) Cook of Sturgis, MI.
