Sally Ann Schmock

Sally Ann Schmock, of Lapeer, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her home. She was 79 years old.

Born June 9, 1947, in Flint, she was the daughter of John Henry and Mary Jane (Linaberry) Helcher. Sally loved to do puzzles, she loved her flowers and working in her flower garden and had a love for all forms of wildlife. Most of all she was devoted to her family especially her children and her husband as well as her best friend and partner Bill. She was a kind,caring and compassionate woman that would do anything for anyone in need.

Sally is survived by her loving partner, Bill D. Vock; her four children, Scott A. Schmock, Timothy G. Schmock, Jennifer L. Slater and her husband Brice, and Brian Schmock and his partner Richard Norris; and her only granddaughter McKayla A. Hall and her husband A.J..

She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Mary J. Helcher, her husband Edward “Rich” Schmock, and three brothers Karl, Jack and Gerald “Sam” Helcher.
