Sandra Lynn Mitchell

MITCHELL - Sandra Lynn, age 73 of Flint, passed away on January 9, 2024.  Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sandra to the Humane Society of Genesee County (genseehumane.org).

Sandra was born on July 3, 1950 to the late James Eli and Ruth Lucille (Stanfield) McGuire.   She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan and enjoyed knitting, Genealogy and writing . She was a lifetime member of The Community of Christ Church.

She is survived by her children,Tabitha Grant of Mt Clemons; Ginger Grant of Port Richey, FL; Jane Grant of Smithville, AR; Robert Mitchell of Swartz Creek; and Timothy Mitchell of Burton. Grandchildren, Danica Hall; Justin Zeeman; and Ginger Norman. Five great-grandchildren.  Siblings, Leslie Ray McGuire and Debra Abbott.  Also surviving are five nieces & five nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, James Eli  and Ruth McGuire. Her brother David McGuire and her husband George Lee Grant.
