KNAG, Sara Elizabeth "Susie" - Age 89, of Flint, died September 8, 2013 at her residence. Services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, September 11 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, Pastor Tony Umber officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday, 12-2 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesee County Humane Society or C.A.R.E. Sara was born April 25, 1924 in Salem OH, the daughter of Charles Raymond Todd and Maybelle Marie (Schlag) Todd. She was married to Ernest Lyle Knag on May 14, 1949; he preceded her in death October 18, 1979. She was a 1942 graduate of Columbiana High School in Ohio, and earned her Associates Degree fromYoungstown Business School. She worked for Flint Osteopathic Hospital in the Business Office, and then worked as the medical receptionist for Dr. John Quin for 23 years retiring in 1992. Surviving are: four children, Michael (Virginia) Knag of Grand Blanc, Kevin Knag of Genesee, Kim (Terese) Knag of Grand Blanc, Anne (Joseph) Ketzler of Flint; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
