Sarah A. Jeakle

Sarah A. Jeakle, age 48, of Flint, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. Her close friends and family will gather 12pm - 2pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. Sarah was born on October 23, 1976 in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Lapeer West High School, class of 1995. Sarah furthered her education at both Mott Community College and Ferris State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Professional Business Management. Sarah was employed with Edible Arrangements for several years before her health declined.

Sarah was a "homebody" who preferred the comforts of home. She liked to read and would get caught in the drama of cooking shows, especially Gordon Ramsay. Weekends, she might try to cook something new for her family and simply enjoy their company. When her son, Joe, was in high school, she became just as enthralled with his Robotics as he was. She attended the meetings and handled the administrative side for the students. Sarah had a soft spot in her heart for frogs and even had two of her own, Pete & Rosy! Above all, Sarah will be missed dearly by her family who loved her so very much.

She is survived by her parents, Don & Margaret Rubino; her loving son, Joe Jeakle; sister, Carol (Drew) Ivan; grandmother, Bonnie Freeman; mother-in-law, Tracy Jeakle; sister-in-law, Jodi (Rod) Flaugher; niece, Kelsey (Tyler) House; and nephew, Kendall Flaughter. Sarah is further survived by other dear cousins and family members.

Sarah was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Reina; grandparents, Edward & Margaret Toth and Donato & Edna Rubino; and father-in-law, Joe Jeakle.
