Sarah J. Muchler

MUCHLER, Sarah J. - Age 87, of Linden, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Sarah's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Burial in Argentine Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 2-8 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service. An American Legion Auxiliary Memorial Service will be held 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Dementia Society of America.

Sarah was born September 23, 1938 in Owosso, the daughter of Delmar and Catherine (Gocha) Kittle. She was a 1956 graduate of Durand High School. She had resided in Linden for the past 8 years coming from Flint. She retired from GM V-8 Engine Plant after 30 years of service. Sarah was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #294 and she was a former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #3720. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bingo, playing cards (especially Euchre), vacationing and cruises and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Susie) Muchler of Fenton and Rhonda (John) Harwood of Linden; grandchildren, Natasha (Rob) Cook, Rosalee (Matt) Mason, Annette Remer, Joe Muchler and David Muchler; great grandchildren, Karter, Karson, Starrlynn, Adrianna, Matthew, Jr. and Crystal. 3 honorary children, Dennis (Sherri) Sweeney, Pat Sweeney and Barry Sweeney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Junior Nequist; brother, Jerry Kittle; and longtime companion, Mick Sweeney. Tribute may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
