Scott Frederick CURTIS

CURTIS, Scott Frederick - age 44, of Davison, died Saturday, May 25, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Scott Curtis Memorial Fund. Scott was born March 11, 1969 in Flint, the son of Frederick and Janet (Tracy) Curtis. He was a 1987 graduate of Goodrich High School. Scott married Kimberly Thompson on September 9, 1989. He was a foreman and welder for Burton Industries for 20 years and Liberty Fabrications. Scott was a member of Millwright Local #1102. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed gardening, his chickens and most of his dogs. Scott loved his family and was active with his children's sports including coaching TJ's youth football team for 6 years. He especially loved his granddaughter, Chloe, he always made her smile and looked forward to teaching her how to fish. Surviving are: wife, Kimberly of Davison; two children, Sarah (Timothy) Kidd of Madison Heights, Trenton "TJ" Curtis of Davison; granddaughter, Chloe Kidd; mother, Janet Curtis; sister, Tracy (John) Pavone; nephew and niece, Dominic and Liliana Pavone; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Beverly and James Thompson; sister-in-law, Kelli (Chris) Gravlin; nephew and niece, James and Mara Gravlin; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick on November 2, 2011, brother Eric on December 24, 2011 and his grandparents, Jack and Mary Tracy and Fred and Viola Curtis.
