Scott David Gould

Scott David Gould, age 57, of Flint Township, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at McLaren Flint. A funeral ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday. A graveside service will take place at a later date in Bendle Cemetery, Flushing. In lieu of flowers, family strongly encourages memorial contributions be made in Scott’s name to the National Kidney Foundation.

Scott was born on December 8, 1968 in Flint, the son of Douglas and Gail (Merinsky) Gould. He was a 1988 graduate of Swartz Creek High School. Scott continued his education at ITT technical Institute where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He was united in marriage to Shannon Braden on August 1, 2009 in Midland. Scott was an avid Disney fan, and he enjoyed everything pertaining to Disney, which led him to his 10-year career with Disney World in Orlando Florida. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon Gould; mother, Gail Gould; stepchildren, Savannah and Xavier; sister, Rashan Ware; niece and nephews, Savannah, Evan and Logan; mother-in-law, Diane Becmer; sister and brother's-in-law, Benjamin Brahmer, Preston Brahmer and Stephanie Leinberger; and several extended family members.
