Sebastian Tyll

TYLL, Sebastian Alexander, 20, passed into eternal life on Friday, October 18th, 2019 after a vehicle collision on his way to work at Michigan State University. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, October 22 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. Ryan Riley celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Sunday and 2-4 & 6-9 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held 10 AM - 11 AM Tuesday at the church.

Sebastian was born April 28th, 1999 in Royal Oak, MI. He was a student at MSU and worked in maintenance at the MSU Greenhouse and he was involved in the ROTC program.

Sebastian was known for his incredible sense of humor, infectious smile, and relaxed personality. He was a brother to more than his sisters, he was a brother to all. He accepted everyone and left the world better than he found it. He was a proud alumnus of Orchard Lake Saint Mary’s Preparatory High School, where he became a three-time state champion as a member of the Saint Mary’s crew team.

He is survived by his mother and father, Crystal and Matthew Tyll, three sisters, Felicity Tyll, Cecily Fisher, and Serenity Even, and his fiancée Yian Wang.
