Sharon Marie FORGIE

FORGIE, Sharon Marie - age 67, of Clio, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at her residence. Services will be held 9:30 AM Friday, February 28, 2014 at Great Lakes Baptist Temple, 2112 E. Maple Ave., Flint with Pastor David Chittenden officiating. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Wednesday and 5-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Great Lakes Baptist Temple Youth Ministry. Sharon was born November 4, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of Arthur William and Ella Hildegard (Jylha) Anderson. She was a 1965 graduate of Swartz Creek High School . Sharon married Thomas John Forgie on October 25, 1969 in Flint. She was a member of Great Lakes Baptist Temple and loved to travel. She was always "on the go". Surviving are: husband, Thomas of Clio; daughter, Bethany (Darren) Dusher of Altamont, KS; son, Scott (Michelle) Forgie of Montrose; six grandchildren, Scotti-Lyn, Joshua, Christian, David, Bailee and Jonathan; cousin, Kay (Jim) Ryan of Hibbing, MN; her in-laws and many precious nieces and nephews also survive.
