Sharon Louise VanSickle

VanSickle , Sharon Louise - Age 71, of Lapeer, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday, March 25 2013, at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to Hometown Home Health and Hospice, 1881 Woodbridge Park Ave., Lapeer MI 48446. Sharon was born February 16, 1942 in Detroit, the daughter of Charles Nelson VanSickle and Edna Louise (Haldie) Meyer . She lived in Lapeer State Home, Oakdale Center, and several other group homes in the Lapeer area. Sharon currently resided at Lake Nepessing Group Home. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Surviving are: sisters, Annetta (Darrell) Tobias of Fenton and Margie Hulsey of Flint; nieces, Cindy (Bob) Makedonsky, Shirley (Dan) Sly, Gail Gauthier (Bob Schaffer) and Kristy (Paul) Reynolds; many great nieces and great nephews; and many loving caregivers over the years.
