WILSON, Sharon Lee, age 69, of Lennon, died Friday, June 18, 2010, at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Internment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at the funeral home. in lieu of flowers ontributions may be made to Kathleen's House, A Place for Autism. She was born Sharon Lee Gilson on July 11, 1940, in Flint, MI. Graduate of Utley School. On May 20, 1961 she married her high school sweetheart Roger Wilson. They shared 49 devoted years of marriage. Sharon was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and mentor, She dedicated her life to her family and she loved to share her tasty food with family and friends: no one was ever left hungry. Sharon had a passion for watching baseball, working in her flower gardens and soending time with her family. She loved life and people, and never met a stranger. Sharon was a charter member of Angels in Red Hats, and was an example to her friends and family and an inspiration to everyone, always sharing her trust in God and His plan for us. Sharon is survived by her husband, Roger of Lennon; children, Michael (Shana) of WI, Eric (Monica) of CA, Darren (Julie) of Stanwood, MI; Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Rachel, Molly, April and Joel; brothers, Leonard and Phil Gilson; Aunt Ardis Williams; and many other relatives and friends.
