COOK, Sheila D. -- Age 68, of Flint, died May 20, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday May 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Pastors Dale and Joyce Lotter officiating. Visitation will be held 3- 9 PM Wednesday, and 11 AM until the time of service on Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Sheila was born October 27, 1944 in Flint, the daughter of Melvin and Ellen (Farnsworth) McClenathan. She was a lifelong resident of the Flint area. She was a member of the Family Worship Center. She loved her church family and loved to make people laugh and smile. Surviving are: two daughters, Crystal Sowles of Flushing, Dawn M. Cook ( Roger Justice) of Fenton; two grandchildren Crisianna and Mitchell; brother, Melvin "Jerry" (Barbara) McClenathan of Burton; and niece, Wendy.
