Shelba Gilliland

GILLILAND, Shelba Marie - Age 74, of Linden, passed away October 27, 2022. Visitation will be held 1-4PM Sunday, with a time of sharing to begin at 4PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make a contribution to a local food bank or to the family. Shelba was born July 26, 1948 in Iron City, TN, the daughter of Vernon Gilbert and Lena Ovidale (Burns) Whitten. She married Robert Emmet Gilliland on June 16, 1967; he preceded her in death on May 21, 2013. Shelba was a soldier for Christ. She loved sharing the word of God and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Mark (Valerie) Gilliland, Treni (Joe) Foster and Tina (Mike) Gilliland; grandchildren, Ty Dowd, Brock Gilliland, Maria Gilliland, Coner Vroman; great-grandchildren, Raelynn Dowd and Bryce Cox; special sister, Sandy Whitten; brother, Larry (Judy) Whitten; many nieces, nephews and family members.
