Sheri Lynn Odom

Sheri Lynn Odom, of Elk Rapids, formerly of Davison, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Henry Ford Genesys in Grand Blanc. She was 78 years old.

Born August 30, 1947 in Flint, she was the daughter of Thel May and Robbie Helen (Tilley) McDonald. She was a 1965 graduate of Flint Southwestern High School. She married Randall “Randy” Odom on September 6, 1975, and together they enjoyed 50 wonderful loving years together. Sheri retired from AC Spark Plug in 1992, always the determined and hard worker she put her interests and work ethic into her crafts, such as interior design, silk flower arrangements, wicker basket making and other crafts and owned her own business The Wickery in Grand Blanc for many years. She was devoted to her family and always made sure they had the best of the best. She loved to be by the water.

Sheri is survived by her husband Randy Odom; her daughter Shay (Odom) Sisco; son Tory Odom (Mindi); step daughter Tammy Compton; step-son Guy Odom (Bernie); nine grandchildren; Trevor, Maysha, Finleigh, Tessa, Violet, Ashley, Haley, Brandon and Kendall; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Renee Langdon (Joe) and Susette Park (Dan) as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends, especially her dearest family friends the Parker family of Grand Blanc.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law, sister Paulette Voorhies, brother Danny McDonald and her son-in-law Darrell Compton.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
