Sherry Elaine (Gibson) Wasserman

WASSERMAN, Sherry Elaine (Gibson) - Age 81, of Fenton, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026. Cremation has taken place and no services will take place at this time. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430.

Sherry was born March 21, 1945, in Puxico, MO, the daughter of Jules R. and Melva L. (Powell) Gibson. She was a 1963 graduate of Flint Southwestern High School. She married Ronald Wasserman and he preceded her in death. She had resided in Fenton for the past 8 years, coming from Ludington. Sherry retired from the Ludington Community School as a bus driver; she also owned and operated Victorian Corridor's Upholstery. She enjoyed reading, playing pool, Wednesday poker night and watching Yellowstone. Sherry shared her life with her loving companion, "Lil Man".

Surviving are: her daughter, Tiffany Burns; grandchildren, Damian, Leighton, and Danycca; sibling, Freddie Powell of Durand and Greg (Karen) Gibson of Fenton; nieces, Mindy Gibson of Fenton, Winona Gibson of Fenton; nephew, Michael (Lisa) Gibson of West Branch.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jules and Melva Gibson; daughter, Lisa Gagnon; and brother, Gaylen Gibson. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
