Shirley Jean Burton

BURTON, Shirley Jean - Age 84, of Gaines, passed away January 26, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Shirley was born November 15, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of James and Opal (Campbell) Salair. She married William Bradbury Burton in 1966; he preceded her in death in 2005. Shirley retired from General Motors in 1996 after 32 years of service. She is survived by her son, William Curtis "Curt" Burton; grandson, William J. Burton.
