Shirley Elizabeth Smith

Shirley Elizabeth Smith, age 78, of Flint Township, died January 5, 2025. Private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Shirley was born on July 20, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of the late Louis and Leoma (Shehorn) McKee. She married James Smith on November 26, 1965 and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2022. Shirley had worked at Alpine Food Store Deli for many years. She is survived by son, Eric (Kelly) Smith of Flint Township; grandchildren, Courtney Smith, Tyler Smith, Riley Smith, Devon (Ashley) Smith, Ashton Carpenter-Smith and Brandon Vorhies; two great grandchildren, Paxton and Ayden; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by two daughters, Nichole Smith and Rebecca Smith
